At a very wet and cold McDiarmid Park in Perth Stevie Crawford did very well from a very tight angle in the second half to cancel out the opening goal from St Johnstone midfielder Allan McManus who left Paul Gallagher with no chance with his header at the back post.

Team news ahead of todays game:
Mark Burchill is the only injury doubt with a strain in his abductor muscle. Greg Ross is still out of contention for a return to the first team.
For the Saints, Rocco Quinn will face a late fitness test but on-loan Dundee United midfielder Greg Cameron is definately out with knee trouble. Goran Stanic has recovered from an Achilles tendon complaint and Andy Jackson is back from a twisted ankle.

A Kevin Harper hat-trick gave Dunfermline victory in a remarkable match at Forthbank, a result which virtually condemns Stirling to Division 2 football next season. However, for most of the second half it looked as if it the Pars would go home empty-handed after another discouraging performance, until Jim McIntyre’s late entry as substitute changed the game as the home side tired.

Team news ahead of todays game:
Scott Thomson returns to the side after going out 2 weeks ago with a thigh strain against Hamilton.
Greg Ross is the only one ruled out at this stage with both Scott Muirhead and Darren Young possibly making the bench in what could be their first competitive match since returning from injury. Both players featured strongly on Tuesday nights friendly.
For Dundee, Mickael Antoine-Curier and Colin McMenamin are both suspended. Paul McHale is out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury. Paul McHale could be out until the summer with a hamstring strain.
Scott Robertson, Gavin Swankie and Milan Palenik are still out.

Good perfomances from the back four and Gallagher and a cracking free-kick from Scott Morrison is all you could take from this game which ended in a fair result. Neither team deserved to win - or lose a lacklustre game on a heavy pitch. Roll on next season...

Recent re-signed on a 2-year deal, Pars defender Scott Muirhead returns to the first team squad after four months out with a broken metatarsal [this was pre-match news, but as it turned out Scott did not make it]. Striker Tam McManus has left for MLS side Colorado Rapids.
For Hamilton, James McArthur and Alex Neil return from suspension.
